Discover Resources for your Great Spiritual Adventure

You might be active in a Christian congregation but you have a nagging feeling there has to be more to your faith than what you’re able to find in the public church.

Maybe you left the Church because it didn’t meet your spiritual needs. You wanted something more. Yet, you still wish you could find that “something more” in the context of the Christian spiritual and wisdom tradition.

Maybe your congregation shut down in-person gatherings during the COVID pandemic and you discovered your life is just fine without getting up on Sunday mornings to go to church.

Leaving the Church is pretty easy. And, if not leaving outright, maybe you just became absent while still considering yourself part of the Church. But that doesn’t address the inner emptiness, does it?

Christianity DOES have a long, rich legacy of spiritual depth and power. Actually, it’s exactly how the faith got started! Jesus taught and healed from the spiritual realm. It was only later as the Western Church became a cultural and political power that the public church lost some of its spiritual moorings.

As a retired pastor, I love how the Church has influenced my life. My decades in the Church have also made available to me the powerful spiritual teachings of this faith tradition. These teachings and the journey itself are difficult to teach the general public. It is estimated that 65 – 80% of people from ALL faith traditions stay in the safer “public” expression of their faith.

It’s hard to transition from an external faith to an internal one. Yet, discovering your internal faith– not to the exclusion of the external, mind you–is how you will find what seems lacking in your spiritual life.

If you are ready to move beyond what the public church is typically able to offer you, hopefully you’ll find some resources here to help you discover the power, gifts, and truth of your soul.
